Yarrow is traditionally used to help stop bleeding and to speed wound healing. It is known as an anti-hemorrhagic, and can be applied topically or taken internally for bleeding.  It may also be used in the treatment of the common cold, fevers, and painful menstruation. It is also a digestive tonic.*
